Premanada Indic, Ph. D.
Dr. Premananda Indic is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas, Tyler and is the Director of CHIA. He obtained his PhD from Faculty of Technology at the Cochin University of Science and Technology, India, in 2001 and completed his postdoctoral training in medicine from Harvard Medical School in 2004.
Dr. Indic is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He was a recipient of the University of Texas System’s Rising Stars Award in 2018.
Prabha Sundaravadivel, Ph. D.
Dr. Prabha Sundaravadivel is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas, Tyler, Texas. She received her Ph. D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of North Texas (UNT), Denton, Texas, in 2018.
Dr. Sundaravadivel’s research is focused on developing Application-specific Architectures for smart healthcare and smart cities; intelligent nodes for Internet of Things (IoT) applications; low power VLSI Design; and mixed signal IC Design. In addition to promoting Undergraduate research, she has been actively involved in outreach activities in East Texas to broaden the participation. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Faculty Advisor for the IoT Student Club.
